Subject Concepts Small Steps Progression
RE, Science and the wider curriculum subjects all have specific concepts to structure the knowledge that is taught in our curriculum. substantive knowledge is organised as ‘I know’ and disciplinary knowledge is organised as ‘I can’. The small steps documents ensure that knowledge is progressive and coherent in each of our planned primary milestones. These documents also ensure that every child can access learning that is appropriate for them.

For P.E. we use the 'MOVE P.E.' syllabus. The small steps progression documents are divided into Dance, Gym, Games, Adventurous Activities and Athletics. As there are 5 we have not attached them here.
