Collective worship

Collective Worship

We have Collective Worship (assembly) every day and this lies at the heart of life in the school. We meet three times a week as a whole school and have Key Stage worship on other days. Collective Worship themes are largely Christian in nature and include stories, drama, music, singing, poetry, reflection and prayer.

Assemblies also provide opportunities for school news to be shared and for celebration.

All our children take part in worship but parents do have a right to withdraw their children from collective worship if they wish. This should be discussed with the headteacher.

Every alternate week Worship is led by Rev. Sue or Father Martin.

Parents are more than welcome to attend.

We celebrate special events in the Christian calendar,

as a whole community, at St. Peter's Church.
