Governors

An Introduction from the Chair
Thank you for your interest in St Peter’s Church of England (Aided) Primary School. Our school aims to create a happy, stimulating learning environment which encourages children to do their very best, and supports them in achieving and exceeding their own expectations. We provide excellent facilities in which the children can feel safe and nurtured by caring and professional teaching staff, who embrace our Christian ethos and focus on every child as an important and valued individual.

In our school, the staff, parents and governors work together as a team to ensure the children are provided with a full and varied education, which includes a wide range of cultural and sporting activities and an extensive choice of after school club opportunities. The Governors support the work of the Headteacher and teaching staff by taking a strategic overview of the school, recognising and celebrating success, and encouraging continued success by regular review of achievement.
